A Rose from Mr. Freedman’s Garden is an original, hand-painted rust work on paper created as an expansion of Mr. Freedman’s world.

Each rose is painted by hand using a rust-based solution that develops directly on the paper through oxidation. As the solution reacts and dries, its color, texture, edges, and surface markings form naturally and somewhat unpredictably. Because the process develops differently each time, every work is unique.

The work is part of a limited series of 250 variations. It is not a print or reproduction. The artwork you receive will vary naturally from the example shown.
