Organizers at the College of Charleston have invited national experts on law, public health and policing, along with every state lawmaker, to the Dec. 4 event in hopes of talking about the issue, then doing something about it.

Plan to attend for the full day or a portion of the day.
Onsite registration opens at 8:15 a.m. and the event begins at 9:00 a.m.
